The body of this bead is dark brown — and then, at both ends, the stone warms to honey.

This new four-eye variant dzi carries the almond-form eye construction that distinguishes this motif family from standard eye dzi: the four eyes are pointed ovals — leaf-shaped rather than circular — each one a dark almond set within a warm cream surround. They are arranged in a stacked double row across each of the two primary faces, two eyes upper and two lower, separated by a narrow dark band running through the centre. The composition reads as four eyes in pairs, not four eyes in a line, and the almond form gives each one a more dynamic, directional character than a standard concentric ring.

The colour structure of this bead is the clearest of the four-eye variant pieces in this series. The central body holds a deep warm dark brown, and at both drill ends the stone shifts to a lighter warm honey-brown — a smooth, natural transition built into the agate rather than applied. The cream motif lines carry a matching warm tone throughout, so the whole palette — dark brown, honey, and warm cream — reads as a unified, naturally graduated colour field. Turn the bead to the 90-degree faces and the almond eyes disappear entirely, replaced by stepped bracket-form cream line patterns running horizontally across the dark ground — a completely different visual register from the eye faces.

At 57.8mm this is the longest of the four-eye variant pieces offered this season, with a well-proportioned elongated fusiform profile tapering evenly to both ends. The surface carries a warm, settled gloss. No cracks are present; confirmed independently from photos. No flaws or disclosures beyond what is visible in the five unretouched images.
